Utility Vehicle or Toolcat? That is the Question.

Utility vehicles are popular for use in parks, farms, landscaping, golf courses, and other situations. The side-by-side design is not only comfortable for multiple people, but the all-terrain design, and pickup style allows for easy transportation of materials across rough and variable terrain.

Bobcat makes a similar piece of equipment called the Toolcat, which has many of the same benefits but with one major upgrade. The Toolcat offers the same benefits of a utility vehicle with the added function of front-end attachments such as buckets, sweepers, augurs, brooms and other bobcat attachments.

The Bobcat Utility Vehicle line of equipment is designed for hauling people and cargo over rough terrain. It can also tow a small trailer to move loads, tools, and other goods from place to place. If you find that you need a Utility vehicle, as well as an additional machine such as a compact articulated loader, skid steer or compact track loader, a Bobcat Toolcat may be able to save you money, space and get the job done with a single machine.

Featuring the Bobcat Bobtach system, a wide array of Bobcat attachments fit onto the front loader arm of the Toolcat. This unique design gives the machine the function of a standard utility vehicle with two comfortable seats, and a rear pickup area, plus the function of a skid steer. The 4-wheel steer function limits ground disturbances and the machine can even add a rear implement to add even greater function to this versatile machine. Working in landscaping, agriculture, horticulture, or recreation the Toolcat is a rare breed of do-it-all equipment.
