How Your Landscaping Can be Made Easier with Vermeer
Feeding chippers on large jobs can be a challenge without a little help. The Vermeer compact loader lineup allows you to increase productivity by lifting and feeding in materials for the chipper when working on larger landscaping tasks. When working together the compact loader can take advantage of Vermeer’s smart feed system ensuring that no feed gets jammed or stuck in the process of entering the machine. The Smart Feed system can be set to high, medium or low speed droop depending on the limbs and brush being fed. For example, with large trunks and branches the high speed droop setting allows the engine to slowdown while feeding which prevents engine shut off or extreme rpm variance causing power loss increasing overall productivity and lifespan of the machine.
Smart Features Across the Vermeer Line for Productivity
With the Vermeer woodchipper range you can take advantage of the optional winch system to easily load machines, for example the AX17 winch boom provides 3,200 lbs of pulling force to help load large materials. Winches can pull trees and bark away from debris or obstacles and can help with feeding machines when complimentary loading machines like CTX compact or ATX articulated loaders are not available on site. In some cases, the winch may not be an appropriate tool to use, especially when dealing with larger wood feed through grapple buckets which better enters with the winch removed from the feeding path.
