Canadian Cancer Society

Since 2017, we have been a proud sponsor for the Canadian Cancer Society, supporting them as BC Regional Sponsor for the CIBC Run for the Cure, and through our Pink Forklift Program.

CIBC Run for the Cure is an annual 5K/1K walk or run that raises vital funds for breast cancer research, compassionate support services, trusted cancer information and advocacy across Canada. Every year we show our support by running and walking, and providing forklift equipment and operators to assist with setup and tear down at the Vancouver and Surrey run sites.

We support the CCS year round through our Pink Forklift Program. We rent out two custom pink Clark forklifts with every profit dollar from these rentals going to the organization.

Over the years, we have raised over $80,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society.

BC Children’s Hospital Foundation (BCCHF)

For seven years, we have proudly supported the work of BCCHF, raising over $17,000 in donations for Jeans Day and their Building for Kids Charity Golf Classic. Jeans Day supports children’s healthcare and research in BC. In May 2020, BCCHF celebrated the 30th anniversary of Jeans Day with a month-long celebration.

We are also proud to be a tournament sponsor for BCCHF’s Building for Kids Charity Golf Classic. Each year, our team members volunteer their time to the one-day charity tournament that raises donations for BC Children’s Hospital.

CKNW Kids’ Fund Pink Shirt Day

Since 2017, Williams Machinery team members have put on their pink shirts to show support for CKNW Kids’ Fund Pink Shirt Day. Hosted annually in February, Pink Shirt Day raises awareness for the impact of bullying on children, and raises funds for anti-bullying programs across Western Canada. Through the support of our team members we have been able to raise $2500 for the CKNW Kids’ Fund.

We also support various other charities and initiatives throughout the year, including HAVAN’s Coats for Kids campaign, Adopt a Family, Green Shirt Day, and local food and clothing drives.
