Key Maintenance Schedule for Your Bobcat Telehandler Model
Every so often your equipment will need a little care to keep it up and running in best conditions. The maintenance schedule below has been outlined by Bobcat as the best times to conduct maintenance and replacements of parts over the lifespan of your machine.

Use the links below to navigate the guide outlined by Bobcat. This guide will help you keep your equipment safe and healthy throughout it's lifespan of use. (Note: Each maintenance checklist should be completed after every outlined interval).

Key Maintenance & Repairs
After every 50 hours using your machine
- Axle steering pivots - Lubricate with multi-purpose lithium based grease.
- Front & rear axle pivot (if equipped) - Lubricate with multi-purpose lithium based grease.
- Boom & cylinder pivots - Lubricate with multi-purpose lithium based grease.
- Hydraulic hoses, tubelines, connections - Check condition of hoses, tubelines, & connections. Repair or replace as needed.
After 100 hours of machine up-time
- Battery - Check electrolyte level. Add distilled water as needed.
- Wheel nuts - Check wheel nut torque. Tighten as needed to appropriate Nm torque.
- Universal joints & slip yoke on drive shaft - Lubricate with multi-purpose lithium based grease.
After 250 hours of machine use or 12 months time
- Alternator & AC belt - Check belt tension and adjust as needed.
- LORS - Lubricate restraint bar spring pivot with multi-purpose lithium based grease.
Every 500 hours up-time or each 6 months
- Fuel Filter - Replace filter element.
- Hydraulic/Hydrostatic oil filter - Replace the hydraulic oil filter element.
- Engine oil & filter - Replace the oil and filter.
- Front & rear axle fluid - Replace axle fluid.
- Gear box fluid - Replace gear box fluid.
- Wheel gear fluid - Replace wheel gear fluid.
After every 1,000 hours or every 12 months
- Hydraulic fluid - Replace the hydraulic fluid.
- Engine coolant - Flush cooling system and replace coolant with 50% ethylene glycol premixed with 50% water. Check freeze protection of antifreeze (-30 C).
- Telescopic boom wear blocks - Check for wear on the pivot pins and bushings.
- Pivot pins and bushings - Check for wear on bushings and pins, replace if needed.
- Breathers - Clean gearbox & axle housing breathers.
- Engine valve lash - Check and adjust if needed.
