Key Maintenance Schedule for Your Bobcat Mini Excavator Model
Every so often your equipment will need a little care to keep it up and running in best conditions. The maintenance schedule below has been outlined by Bobcat as the best times to conduct maintenance and replacements of parts over the lifespan of your machine.

Use the links below to navigate the guide outlined by Bobcat. This guide will help you keep your equipment safe and healthy throughout it's lifespan of use. (Note: Each maintenance checklist should be completed after every outlined interval).

Key Maintenance & Repairs
After ONLY the FIRST 50 hours using your machine
- Fuel Filter – Replace filter element.
- Engine Oil and Filter – Replace oil and filter.
- Drive Belts (Alternator) (Air Conditioning - If Equipped) – Check condition. Replace as needed.
- Hydraulic Filter and Case Drain Filter – Replace the hydraulic filter, case drain filter and the reservoir breather cap.
- Battery – Check cables and connections.
- Alternator and Starter – Check connections.
- Travel Motors (Final Drive) – Check fluid level and add as needed
After every 50 hours of machine use
- Swing Bearing – Grease swing bearing and swing pinion (Service every 10 hours when operating in water).
- Battery – Check cables and connections.
- Fuel Tank – Drain water and sediment from fuel tank and fuel filter
After 250 hours of machine up-time (or every 12 months)
- Fuel Filter – Replace filter element.
- Travel Motors (Final Drive) – Check fluid level and add as needed
After 500 hours of machine use (or every 12 months time).
- Cooling System – Clean debris from radiator, fuel cooler, hydraulic fluid cooler, air conditioning condenser (if equipped).
- Drive Belts (Alternator) (Air Conditioning - If Equipped) – Check condition. Replace as needed.
- Engine Oil and Filter – Replace oil and filter.
- Hydraulic Filter, Case Drain Filter, and Hydraulic Reservoir Breather Cap – Replace the hydraulic filter, case drain filter and the reservoir breather cap.
- Alternator and Starter – Check connections.
- HVAC – Clean housing and coils.
Every 1,000 hours up-time (or after every 12 months)
- Swing Cylinder Base End – Grease swing cylinder base end grease fitting.
- Hydraulic Fluid and Filters – Replace hydraulic fluid and filters.
- Travel Motors (Final Drive) – Replace fluid. • Engine Valves – Adjust the engine valve clearance
After each 24 months of ownership
- Coolant - Replace the coolant.
